About me.

What’s up! I’m Kyle — a Strength Coach, Physical Therapist, and founder of AthletIQ Resilience. I’ve been in the Strength & Conditioning world since 2013, coaching everyone from elementary school athletes to Olympians. Along the way, I fell in love with lifting — first as a powerlifter, then as an Olympic weightlifter — and started working more deeply with strength sport athletes in both performance and rehab. By 2018, I wanted to do more than just improve performance; I wanted to be responsible for the totality of my athletes' care, from training to rehab to wellness and lifestyle management. That led me to PT school, where I graduated in 2021.

I was under no illusion heading into grad school, already well aware of the shortcomings of modern US healthcare. But, it took all of 4 years for two things to become painfully clear: 1) the healthcare system is well and truly broken, and 2) athletes are one of the most poorly served populations. Visits keep getting shorter, caseloads keep getting larger, and treatment has become progressively more generic. I graduated with the intention of bringing a new approach to PT, but as it stands, rehab doesn't speak the language of performance. So after years of frustration and endless conversations, I made the decision to walk away from the system entirely.

And so AthletIQ Resilience was born — because athletes deserve better than what today’s healthcare system provides. Movement and performance set my soul on fire, and if you're here, you likely feel the same. You want to train hard, stay healthy and take ownership of all aspects of your wellness and performance. And guess what, you deserve to. I'm here to walk that path with you, until the day you no longer need me. Ready to see if you're a good fit for AthletIQ Resilience? Take the quiz, and let's get to work.

The mission.

My mission is simple: to help you build the knowledge and skills to take full ownership of your performance, one month at a time, until you feel confident steering the ship yourself. I don't believe in gatekeeping information, especially when it comes to health and wellness. Being a great athlete doesn't just come down to being strong, it comes down to being informed. I believe in transparency, and teaching you why and how to make decisions, not simply telling you what to do. As cliche as it may be, the saying still holds true: give someone a fish and they'll eat for a day, but teach them to fish, and they'll eat for a lifetime. That's the entire foundation for this business.

Unfortunately, the current healthcare model thrives on the opposite: dependency. It's reactive, not proactive, and it's only profitable if you keep coming back. If they taught you how to train well, recover well and live well, visit counts would drop, and they'd lose business. So what do you get? Vague diagnoses. 8 appointments a month. Generic rehab with 3 other patients. PTs "confirming" how "broken" you are by claiming your 'joints are out of alignment' and your 'glutes are off.' And unfortunately, no context, no education, and no real progress.

Let’s be clear: you’re not broken. You just need guidance. That’s why I built AthletIQ Resilience. Not to treat you like a patient, but to coach you like an athlete. Not to keep you dependent, but to help you become your own best asset. This isn’t healthcare. It’s the evolution. It’s where you stop outsourcing your health, and start owning it.

I want you to outgrow me.

Resilience isn't built through dependency — it's forged through understanding and execution. You'll walk away empowered, equipped with the knowledge and the tools to adapt, progress and perform — no matter what life throws your way.
